On the 16th of November 2017, our school held a Science
Fair as part of the annual Science week activities within the
school. Form 2, with the help of their Science teachers Ms.
Murphy and Ms. Cahill, designed experiments, investigated
and researched topics of their choosing to be carried out
and displayed for other year groups in the school.
Projects ranged from ‘How to make a lava lamp’ to ‘Twin
Fingerprinting’. The Projects were researched and carried
out in the weeks coming up to Science week with the final
results displayed on the day. This year’s Science fair was
judged by Mr. Galligan.
The students who took part in the Science fair enjoyed the
process and gained useful methods for future research
and development. Students found that the time spent
and the investigation process will be useful in their future
