HISTORY WEEK

This year, history week was filled with fun and excitement
including quizzes, posters and presentations. The first years
composed biographies on famous historical figures that were
displayed outside the staff room on the notice board.

The second years made posters over a couple of weeks on
material they had covered. They then presented them to first
years in the school room. They taught the first year topics that
they had previously covered in the year. Ms Forde organised
a quiz for second and third years which also took place in the
school room with prizes to win.
Posters were displayed around the school on notice boards.
This promotes an interest and awareness of history throughout
the whole school community. History week in the school was
fun and enjoyable due to the atmosphere and activities.
