Cheerios
Breakfast for
Childline
Our school decided to raise money for
the charitable organisation Childline,
who continue to make a difference in
the lives of the youth of our society.
We did this by holding a “Cheerios
Breakfast Morning” which took place on
Friday 27th of October. It was run by the
Transition Year students and teachers.
Everyone had delegated jobs to do
that morning. We called the students
by class, and allowed them into the
hall as they contributed towards the
fundraising effort. They were served
crunchy, fibre packed cheerios cereal
to fill their rumbling stomachs. It would
be an understatement to say that the
atmosphere was bustling and energetic
and everyone left feeling fulfilled. It was
well worth the €2 for such a good cause!
