Chess Club

CHESS

Chess club is a weekly meet up where a variety of students
from the Royal School gather and show their passion and
prowess for chess. The group meets up every Tuesday
during lunch time in Mr Robertson’s room. The current
member pool consists of well over fifteen people and is
continually growing every week.
The club holds yearly competitions leading up to
Christmas where a random bracket is made and each
player tries their hardest to win. This year our runner ups
were Mark Noble and George Marshall with Adam Syed
coming in first place. In the individuals Adam Syed came third which is a
notable feat. Congratulations to all our chess players on
