KILLARY ADVENTURE TRIP
Day 3
This was the day we had all the team building activities. After breakfast
we made our way to where all these contraptions were. My group went
to the zip wire first, and let me tell you it was not easy getting up there.
You had to climb up a ladder and then pegs in the wood and it was pretty
high. But the zipline was so much fun even though it was uncomfortable
hanging there.
We then made our way down to the high poles. This was a pole with a
foot by foot platform on top, which four people had to stand on at the
same time. It was very scary and difficult too.
After lunch we climbed the rock wall, it was fun only a few people got to
the very top. We moved on to the swing, with two seats, it rose up into
the air very slowly. When it reached the top you had to pull a wire, when
this wire was pulled you dropped.
We had time to relax when we got back, then we had dinner and after
that we played games. Obviously my team won! We packed our bags and
then watched a slideshow of all the pictures!
Day 4
We woke up had breakfast, then we began our walk to the “Turf Warrior
Challenge”. After putting on wetsuits, then we walked through boggy
water that was up to your neck, whilst trying not to lose our shoes. Then
we went through the slides that flew us into muddy water and cleaned
us off a bit. Everybody was then allowed to go into the sea to wash off,
people washed off then messed around!
We got changed and then we went back to the centre to have lunch,
the bus was late! But eventually it came, everyone put their bags on it
and we prepped ourselves for the treacherous journey ahead and we all
didn’t forget to say goodbye to Killary!
