First Year Maths Trip

On the 8th October all of first year went on a maths trip
to Castle Saunderson. We went with Ms. Gray and Mr.
Kavanagh. When we arrived we went into the hall and
played a few games to get our brains warmed up. We
then split up into groups of four.
In our groups we did lots of different activities
like measuring angles, shapes and map reading.
Unfortunately we couldn’t do the activities outside as
was planned because the weather decided that it would
be a rainy day, but that didn’t stop us from doing archery!
As soon as we finished archery we got back on the bus
and headed back just in time for lunch.
