TRANSITION YEAR LONDON 2014
On Wednesday the 30th of April the
transition year students flew to London for
a 3 day trip. We were accompanied by Ms
Trenier, Mr Robertson and Ms Reilly. We had
an early morning, as we left the school at
2am. We arrived in London around 8am. We
had a tour guide on a London coach with us
and we went sight-seeing around London
City, including a visit to Big Ben, Buckingham
Palace and then went to the London Eye.
The full rotation on the London Eye lasted
and hour and we could see the whole city of
London from the top.
On the Thursday we went to Thorpe Park, a
big theme park. We had a great day. After
Thorpe park we went for food and then to
see a musical ‘Wicked’. It was an amazing
experience.
On the Friday we went to the London
Dungeons, in our opinion it was one the
best parts of the trip as none of us knew
what to expect! After that we went shopping
in Westfield Shopping Centre, the largest
shopping centre in Europe. Late that day it
was time to fly home.
We all really enjoyed the London trip, it was
the highlight of Transition Year. We will never
forget the London experience and we thank
the teachers who made it happen.
