NORA STAPLETON VISIT

She attended UCD and plays her club rugby for Old
Belvedere RFC. She also played on the Leinster Team. Nora
was a key member of the 2013 Women’s Grand Slam team.

When Nora came to visit she told us about how she got into
rugby. She only started playing with a club when she was
in her early twenties. She helped her friend fill a tag rugby
team when they were one player short. She enjoyed it and
was then asked to join a club. We found it amazing that she
has come so far in such a short space of time.
