On the 14th of April a schools chess competition was
held in the Green Isle Hotel in Dublin in which Mark
Noble, Adam Syed, Craig Stratford, George Marshall,
Conor O’Brien, Nathan Ellis, Sultan Adeleke and David
Noble competed in. The Royal entered two teams in this
competition. Team A comprised of Adam Syed, Mark
Noble, Craig Stratford and George Marshall and David
Noble, Sultan Adeleke, Conor O’Brien and Nathan Ellis
were all in Team B. Each person played six games and the Winners of the Interschools Chess Tournament. Royal School
