For Pancake Tuesday in the school we sold pancakes
to raise money for The National Children’s Hospital in
Tallaght.
That morning myself and Hannah Lynch-Dawson
went to Ms. Poyntz and began to make the pancakes.
We made 200 pancakes to start off with and we had
them ready for selling at lunch time to the students
and the teachers. We opened the Home Economics
room at lunch to sell the pancakes at €2 each. There
were various toppings available such as sugar, lemon,
chocolate spread, marshmallows, syrup and honey.
It was a great success as we raised €296.30 for The
National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght.
