Healthy Eating Week


 Healthy Eating week began  on the 4th  of March. It  was a
 jam packed week with plenty of hard work and preparation
 beforehand.  The Transition Years put together a healthy eating
 survey, analysed the results and formed a conclusion on the
 eating habits of students in our school. They also made posters
 which were displayed along with healthy eating guidelines and
 information throughout the school.
 In Art, Junior Students got involved in a poster competition
 which was won by Sophie Bell (Form 3). In Business some
 students compared healthy and unhealthy foods. Both the
 posters and results from Business were also displayed around
 the school.
 On the Tuesday, there was a healthy eating demonstration for   Cheerios Childline Breakfast
 Form 3 and 5 students by Máire Du cy, from An Bord Bia.
