Healthy Eating Week
Healthy Eating week began on the 4th of March. It was a
jam packed week with plenty of hard work and preparation
beforehand. The Transition Years put together a healthy eating
survey, analysed the results and formed a conclusion on the
eating habits of students in our school. They also made posters
which were displayed along with healthy eating guidelines and
information throughout the school.
In Art, Junior Students got involved in a poster competition
which was won by Sophie Bell (Form 3). In Business some
students compared healthy and unhealthy foods. Both the
posters and results from Business were also displayed around
the school.
On the Tuesday, there was a healthy eating demonstration for Cheerios Childline Breakfast
Form 3 and 5 students by Máire Du cy, from An Bord Bia.
