Christian Union
The Christian Union is a group of students and teachers that meet up on Thursday’s
at lunchtime to have a time of fun and games and also a time for fellowship and for
finding out more about our faith. We invite many guest speakers to come and share their
thoughts with us. For example, this year we had five young men who were training to
become ministers in the Baptist Church. They spent a week with us where they gave their
testimonies in assembly and met with us at lunchtimes to get to know us better.
The C.U. also had the chance to go to a dinner dance which was held in the Hillgrove
Hotel in Co. Monaghan on the 20th of November. Everyone was excited in their best
finery for a night of fun and dance! The dinner was lovely and a lot of excellent and funny
entertainment was provided.
The Christian Union is a lot of fun and new members are always welcome to take part in
the meetings!
